I originally recorded this song on my album ‘River Song’ … however, that recording, made during the pandemic, was recorded ENTIRELY remotely … as in, nobody was in the same room at the same time.

Remote recording became the norm for pandemic recordings, but it was strange for us jazz musicians who usually feed off each other’s energy in the moment.

Because of this, I really wanted to record a LIVE version for my next record … ¡ KRL ! … my hope is that it gives the record a taste of the explorations that go on in a live situation !
