WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
As an active participant in the creation of this project, it is SUPER important to me that I be as transparent as possible. You see, creating an album costs A LOT of money … and so far, I’ve funded ‘Live @ Black Squirrel Club’ entirely myself. That means no record label support, no producer, no safety-net.
The money raised in the (pre) pre-sale will go to pay for the musicians, recording engineer, mixing/mastering, art-design, production, and promotion. I set the goal of $10,000, which is a lot I know, but that’s what it cost to make it and that’s what it’ll cost to give this album life.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THIS ALBUM?
When listening to ‘Live @ Black Squirrel Club’ … it is my highest hope that you are taken on AN ADVENTURE ! Not only to the incredible night that we recorded, but to another realm. A place of peace. A refuge from this crazy world, if only for a little while.
On a more tactile level … this album contains 80 minutes of LIVE improvised music. The way this music is MEANT TO BE … with all it’s freedom, depth, and beautiful contradictions …
this is NO Taylor Swift hyper-produced hit machine or a Spotify AI generated playlist bot … this is REAL MUSIC !
Some of it swings, some of it grooves. Some of the songs are older compositions, some of them are brand new jams you can’t hear anywhere else …
Either way … this record is a unique documentation of a crossroads in my sonic journey … or more accurately OUR JOURNEY ! That’s right, if you are reading these words, it is because YOU are an integral part of this, and I couldn’t do it without you :)
